Chicken & Lentil Soup

Instructions

​

1) On a clean cutting board, season the chicken thighs with salt & pepper to your liking.

2) In a 5 qt crock pot, combing all of the ingredients. Cook on low for 7 hours or high for 4.5 hours.

3) A half hour before completion, taste the soup for flavor; you may wish to add a little more salt or pepper here.  Remove the chicken from the crock pot and shred onto a clean cutting board, then return the chicken to the soup.

4) Finish out remaining cooking time.  Serve in a large soup bowl. Enjoy:)

Chicken and Lentil Soup

serves 4 people

 

1 jar Bottled Thyme Sauce Champignon

1 cup lentils- dry

3 cups water or chicken broth

2 cloves of garlic- minced

1 TBSP soy sauce

1 medium carrot- medium diced

1 ½ lbs chicken thighs

¼ tsp rosemary

1 medium white onion- medium diced

To Taste salt & pepper
